It's a yucky weekend. The children are whining. You can't send them to the yard to run off energy. So how to keep them amused? Children of all ages love to color, and you could keep a stack of coloring books on the shelf. Alternatively you might get on the computer and with just a quick search find and print off coloring pages to appease each kid! No more sheets? Print off even more! Even you the adult can maybe locate one or two to trip your interest. What superior method to interact with your kiddos than chilling around the craft table passing around the color crayons or markers? Have older youngsters? Select a complex landscape then give them a selection of water colors.

Sometimes he really just loses himself in the work and goes quiet, determined to do good and his hand eye concentration has really come on in leaps and bounds. He seems to have quickly learned that by going slower his accuracy improves and things are easier overall, a great little lesson for life there! He is too young yet to start trying to sign his name on his work so I ask him to draw me his face as a signature and he always does so with a big smile on it, which tells me he had a good time working on it!
