Three Tips of the day!
You can create your own book full of simple coloring pages. You only need enough strong quality paper and a creative eye to sketch the images. The images should have thick lines to show distinctive features. You can make coloring books of the alphabet, nature, numbers, the world and countries, animals or cartoons. However, you should keep in mind that the book should not only be a fun filled coloring thing but an educative tool too. In addition, keep it go for simple shapes that even the toddler can try to sketch.
Sometimes he really just loses himself in the work and goes quiet, determined to do good and his hand eye concentration has really come on in leaps and bounds. He seems to have quickly learned that by going slower his accuracy improves and things are easier overall, a great little lesson for life there! He is too young yet to start trying to sign his name on his work so I ask him to draw me his face as a signature and he always does so with a big smile on it, which tells me he had a good time working on it!
As a parent I know how expensive purchasing hundreds of coloring books can get and its such a shame to let something so fun pass them by because of money, so finding free pages online are a fantastic way to still provide kids with the fun without the expense. Let your kids evolve, grow, imagine, and participate in one of the easiest methods around to challenge their skills with coloring.
